Where can I find a copy of the electrical wiring diagram and circuits for my 2017 Arctic Cat Alterra 400? My vehicle will not start and I need to inspect the installation of electric circuits and wires so as to determine what is causing the no-start issue.
The battery has 12 volts and the lights turn on when the ignition switch key is in the ON position but the engine will not start and begin to run. The engine does crank over but it won’t fire. Maybe it’s the fuel pump sensor or camshaft position sensor?
If I had some type of wiring schematic that illustrates and defines all of the electrical circuits maybe I could test some of the components to see if the electrical cables flowing current.
Here is the official wiring diagram of the main harness for the 2017 Arctic Cat Alterra 400 all-terrain vehicle. This main harness pictorial representation of electrical wire colors and circuits was extracted directly from the factory service manual.

Just because your vehicle will not start and begin running doesn’t mean it is electrical related. Compression too low, weak spark, fuel not reaching the carburetor can cause no-start or hard to start conditions.
Make sure you do a compression test to check for worn piston rings or bore, inspect spark plugs and make sure the valve clearance is not out of adjustment. You said it cranks but does not fire the engine. Does it crank too slowly? If so it could be the starter motor.
If you need the factory service manual I can post it ASAP so let me know if you are in need of it. Thanks.
